Job Description

The Information Technology Team is responsible for all corporate IT services and any computer related equipment that supports the business including laptops, telecommunication devices, tablets, smartphones, printers, local area networks, wide area networks, or any other related hardware or software.

As Senior System Administrator you will be responsible for IT infrastructure services such as mobility, architecting best messaging and collaboration solutions, authentication services, secure network infrastructure, availability and performance. Come support and serve as the onsite technology subject matter expert for a rapidly growing Kipu Systems team! This is a full time position based in our Downtown Miami office and you .must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employee.

Responsibilities:

  • Automate and support the on-boarding, provisioning and upkeep of a growing fleet of laptops including user accounts, disk encryption, software installation, intrusion detection, and backups
  • Provide direction on supporting internal communications systems and processes, assess requirements to improve efficiency of communication and implement innovative solutions
  • Support email and administrate corporate systems to scale for company growth
  • Develop, implement, and support network infrastructure (internet connection, internal network, wifi, network monitoring, network redundancy)
  • Mentor, influence, and evangelize environmental changes upon the introduction of new services
  • Develop and conduct technology training for new and incumbent employees, create reference materials (job aids) for tasks performed in software applications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ yearsí experience working in an IT role
  • Well-rounded IT background that includes a history of showing the ability to troubleshoot desktop, server, networking, and application problems
  • Experience with system monitoring tools (Nagios, Cactii, Ganglia)
  • Experience configuring and managing availability and reliability of the wireless network (Cisco, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, Meraki Wifi, 802.11x)
  • 2+ yearsí Scripting Experience (Python, Perl, Bash, Powershell)
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure: Windows/Mac automation setup, MDM
  • Experience with the integration of private/public clouds and data storage solutions: Okta, Office 365, Salesforce, Jira/Confluence, Dropbox, Absolute, Trend Micro, 8◊8, Adobe, Brivo
  • Desktop support: Provide service oriented Desktop support in a OSX/Windows environment
  • Excellent Technical Troubleshooting and Remediation Skills
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated to continuously learn
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Bachelors Degree
